The Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE) is seeking a Superintendent on behalf of the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District and is now accepting applications. Position description to follow. The ideal candidate will possess: -Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Education Administration or closely related field. Doctorate preferred. -Prior experience as a teacher and principal and three (3) years’ experience at the executive cabinet level. -Ability to demonstrate a strong fiscal background and understanding of state and local budgets. -A strong record of successful partnerships with the board, staff, labor and community groups. -Demonstrate success with diverse student populations, resulting in equitable outcomes for all learners. Doctorate preferred. -Prior experience as a teacher and principal and three (3) years’ experience at the executive cabinet level. -Ability to demonstrate a strong fiscal background and understanding of state and local budgets. -A strong record of successful partnerships with the board, staff, labor and community groups. -Demonstrate success with diverse student populations, resulting in equitable outcomes for all learners.
