What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator of International Affairs position at Alabama State University?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate international student support services and initiatives, including onboarding, transition, cultural adjustment, orientation, an d student integration
- Assist with immigration related processes and SEVIS compliance while maintaining accurate student records and reports.
- Coordinate educational, cultural adjustment, and global engagement programs, including International Education Week and intercultural activities
- Collaborate with Admissions and Recruitment regarding international student communication, admissions, and enrollment support
- Provide guidance related to campus resources, housing, employment eligibility, and student engagement
- Monitor enrollment and retention data, support international partnerships and study abroad awareness efforts assist with marketing and outreach initiatives, serve as advisor to the International Student Association
