Alabama State University, Operations Event Management, invites applications for the position of Ticket Seller. Under general supervision of the Director of Ticket Operations, the Ticket Seller is responsible for processing ticket sales, and providing customer assistance.

- Process in-person and over-the-phone ticket sales using point-of-sale or computerized ticketing systems (e.g., Flicket)
- Handle cash, credit cards, and mobile payments, reconcile cash drawers at the end of shifts and prepare daily sales reports, assist with collection of report data
- Greet patrons, answer questions regarding event times, seating availability, pricing, and venue policies
- Print and verify tickets for will-call pickup, and troubleshoot scanning or seating issues for guests
- Exhibit exceptional communication, problem solving, and conflict resolutions skills
- Assist with crow control, direct traffic, and adheres to venue security and emergency protocols
- Project professional appearance at all time
- Perform other duties as assigned
A High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of experience as a ticket seller, retail sales associate, cashier, or bank teller with experience processing payment transactions and handling large sums of cash on a daily basis. Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays and extended hours.
Physical Demands:
