Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Controls Technician to join our global infrastructure team, focusing on the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of building management and electrical power monitoring systems. This role involves hands-on field work across multiple data center sites to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and troubleshoot field sensors, controllers, wiring, and networking for industrial control systems.
- Support the commissioning and startup of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS).
- Verify installations against specifications and conduct thorough point-to-point checkouts.
- Provision proprietary control systems and ensure seamless communication between system components.
- Travel to multiple data center sites within a region to perform assigned tasks.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on controls background, including wiring installation, system testing, adjustments, and field device troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with various sensor types.
- Experience working in a medium to large company/setting.
