Akkodis is seeking a Wholesale Account Specialist – Onsite – New York, NY for a 12 Months Contract opportunity.
Rate Range: $76/hour - $80/hour.; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Role Summary
The Wholesale Account Specialist plays a critical role in expanding and strengthening wholesale parts relationships between independent repair facilities and Dealers. This field-based position focuses on acquiring new shop accounts, driving adoption of electronic parts ordering (EPO) platforms, and engaging Dealers to improve wholesale performance. Success in this role will directly impact dealer sales growth, ordering efficiency, and long-term shop partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
New Shop Account Outreach (40%)
- Identify, cold call, and visit independent mechanical and collision repair shops to establish wholesale parts relationships with Dealers.
- Identify key shop personnel responsible for parts ordering and maintain strong working relationships.
- Facilitate live introductions between new shop customers and dealership Parts Managers and wholesale teams.
- Coordinate with dealership teams to confirm and manage live customer orders through approved EPO platforms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer profiles in the Wholesale CRM system.
- Document all shop visits, interactions, and outcomes in Dealer CRM tools for performance and ROI tracking.
Shop Software Adoption (40%)
- Identify shops not currently using CollisionLink, OPSTrax, CCC, or RepairLink.
- Promote collaboration between independent shops and authorized Dealers by demonstrating the benefits of EPO platforms.
- Provide hands-on support for platform onboarding, installation, integration, and daily usage.
- Guide shops through the end-to-end parts ordering process to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage and escalate software or platform issues to vendors to ensure timely resolution.
Dealer Program Engagement (20%)
- Coordinate closely with Wholesale Parts Specialists at each Dealer location.
- Participate in market kickoff events and joint shop visits with Dealer partners.
- Develop and share outreach plans, target lists, and visit schedules with Dealers and field teams.
- Review Dealer sales and ordering data to confirm EPO adoption and identify growth opportunities.
- Coach Dealers on best practices to improve order response times and increase conversion rates.
- Identify and escalate Dealer opportunities to Dealer Management and Field Teams for additional support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5 years of experience in automotive wholesale, aftermarket, or related sales roles.
- Proven experience in wholesale parts sales.
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of relationship-based selling.
- Solid understanding of the U.S. automotive aftermarket.
- Willingness to travel up to 95% within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business Management or Marketing.
- Experience directing sales across multiple channels.
- Knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts sales environments.
- Prior field wholesale automotive experience.
- Background in parts, accessories, and service marketing.
- Experience as a Retail or Parts Manager.
- Proficiency with Dealer DMS systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
