Akkodis is seeking an experienced Quality Laboratory Chemist I.
Pay Range:$70K - $75K per annum with benefits. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Position Overview
This is not a research (R&D) role. It is a Quality Control (QC) Laboratory position supporting a manufacturing environment.
The QC Lab is responsible for:
- Raw material testing
- Product release testing
- Stability testing
- Production support
- Laboratory investigations
- Supplier qualification activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
Strong foundation in chemistry
Hands-on experience with HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography)
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, such as:
- Pharmaceutical
- Medical Device
- Nutraceutical
- Food & Beverage
Laboratory Instrumentation
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
- HPLC *(approximately 85% of the daily work)*
- GC (Gas Chromatography)
- LC (Liquid Chromatography)
- ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma)
- Wet Chemistry techniques
