Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 2nd Shift
- Monday–Thursday: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Friday: 1:30 PM – 9:00 PM (or 9:30 PM)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 annually
- Annual discretionary bonus of up to 12%

About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Laboratory Chemist I to join our Quality Control Laboratory supporting a high-volume manufacturing operation. This is not a research or product development role. The laboratory is responsible for testing raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples to ensure products meet quality and regulatory standards before release.
The lab processes approximately 30–40 samples per day, performing nearly 320 tests daily, with the goal of releasing products efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine analytical testing of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples.
- Operate and troubleshoot analytical instruments, primarily HPLC.
- Prepare samples and accurately document test results.
- Perform release testing in accordance with GMP requirements.
- Conduct wet chemistry and other analytical testing as needed.
- Support laboratory investigations, including out-of-specification (OOS) results.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and ensure compliance with GMP and company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with manufacturing and quality teams to support product release.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry.
- Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry principles.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–5 years of Quality Control laboratory experience.
- Experience working in a GMP/cGMP regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Pharmaceutical
- Medical Device
- Nutraceutical
- Food & Beverage Manufacturing
Preferred Technical Skills
- HPLC (primary instrument used daily)
- Empower Chromatography Software (highly preferred)
- GC (Gas Chromatography)
- LC
- ICP
- Wet Chemistry
