JOB TITLE: IT Project Manager
EMPLOYMENT TYPE/DURATION: 6 months, potential to go longer
COMPENSATION: $65-$70/hour
LOCATION DETAILS: This is a hybrid position. 3 days/week in Dallas, TX
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology onboarding and integration initiatives related to office acquisitions projects. This role will partner closely with integration leads, internal IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure newly acquired offices are fully operational, secure, and aligned with company technology standards.
The ideal candidate has strong experience managing infrastructure-focused IT projects, coordinating multiple teams, and driving execution across all phases of office technology integration.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage IT onboarding and integration projects for newly acquired office locations
• Assess and document existing office technology environments, including hardware, software, printers, networking equipment, internet providers, and telecommunications systems
• Coordinate planning, deployment, and setup of new laptops, monitors, phones, printers, and other end-user technology
• Partner with internal infrastructure teams to replace or upgrade network equipment and connectivity solutions
• Manage projects involving new circuits, wireless access points, internet service providers, and office network readiness
• Ensure IT rooms, equipment, and infrastructure meet company security and operational standards
• Work closely with integration leads and cross-functional stakeholders to execute project plans and timelines
• Track project milestones, risks, budgets, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives
• Coordinate all technology-related tasks necessary to fully support office operations and employee onboarding
• Facilitate communication between business teams, vendors, and technical resources to ensure successful project delivery
• Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and implementation schedules
Qualifications
• 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure or technology integration projects
• Experience supporting office buildouts, acquisitions, mergers/integrations, or enterprise onboarding initiatives
• Strong understanding of networking, end-user computing, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure environments
• Experience coordinating with third-party vendors, service providers, and cross-functional technical teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar platforms
• Ability to drive execution and ensure accountability across teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting multi-site or enterprise office environments
• Familiarity with IT security and infrastructure standards
• PMP or related project management certification preferred
