Desktop Support Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Desktop Support Technician – Hillsboro, OR, for a 6 months Contract

Rate Range: $25.00 - $31.00 P/HR.; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Role And Responsibilities:

• 2 years of hands-on experience configuring, testing, repairing, or supporting PCs, servers, or similar computer systems.

• Experience installing and troubleshooting Windows operating systems, software applications, device drivers, and hardware.

• Experience with PC imaging, system deployment, cloning, backup, and recovery processes.

• Experience installing and upgrading PC hardware such as RAM, SSDs/HDDs, graphics cards, network adapters, and peripheral devices.

• Experience diagnosing and resolving PC hardware and software issues.

• Experience setting up and configuring servers or server-class hardware preferred.

• Experience with virus scanning, malware detection, and basic computer security practices.

• Experience working with BIOS/UEFI configuration, firmware, drivers, and hardware diagnostics preferred.

• Experience with software installation media creation, software burning, or image deployment processes preferred.

• • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, test, or regulated environment is a plus.
