Biomedical Electronics Manager job in Lincoln, Nebraska
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Biomedical Electronics Manager to collaborate with counterparts across the health system to ensure enterprise standards, processes, and program principles are successfully delivered. Develop and manage a safe, comprehensive electrical/electronic program in accordance with organizational policies and local/state and national codes; coordinates activities with other departments/outside resources; supervises biomedical electronics staff and ensures daily workload is carried out through individual or cooperative efforts and continuously looks for opportunities to make improvements. Pay/Salary Range: $120,000.00/Year to $140,000.00/Year. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Required Skills:
- Experience with Renovo Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) software, including equipment inventory management, preventive maintenance tracking, work order management, compliance reporting, asset lifecycle management, and capital planning.
- Ability to interact and collaborate with medical device manufacturers, technology vendors, and service providers at an enterprise level.
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, staff, and leadership regarding service delivery, operational performance, project status, and workload management.
- Experience managing break/fix operations, equipment maintenance, repair activities, and asset tracking.
- Experience planning and managing capital expenditures, equipment replacement strategies, and budgeting for biomedical equipment and supplies.
- Strong understanding of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM), including oversight of medical devices connected to the Bryan Health network, device integration, cybersecurity, and patch management.
- Ability to organize, facilitate, and lead meetings with internal operations personnel, clinical stakeholders, vendors, and leadership teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and healthcare technology best practices.
- Proven leadership experience managing biomedical and/or electronics teams in a healthcare environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills with a focus on operational excellence and customer service.
