Akkodis is seeking an Agile Project Manager-Azure DevOps for a 6-month contract with a client in Redmond, WA 98052-Remote.
Job Title: Agile Project Manager-Azure DevOps
Location: Redmond, WA 98052-Remote
Contract Duration: 6-month contract
Pay Range: $75- $80/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Daily Schedule: Monday-Thursday - 7 hours a day. total 28 hours a week
Roles and Responsibilities
- A typical day involves guiding teams in adopting Agile practices, measuring framework effectiveness, and facilitating improvements. The role requires hands-on work in Azure DevOps – creating and tracking work items, managing dashboards, and designing scalable story-pointing frameworks. Collaboration is key, working with cross-functional teams.
- The Agile PM creates and maintains data visualizations, delivers DevOps solutions, and provides training on best practices.
- Flexibility is essential, as priorities shift rapidly and escalations may arise. Strong communication and autonomy are needed to report progress, coach teams, and manage documentation.
- The role blends technical expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to drive Agile maturity across the organization Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery. Drive program/project schedules and status reports.
- Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented.
- Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information. Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints. Provide program/project schedules and status reports.

Requirements
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner
- Microsoft Certified Trainer
- Agile Practitioner: Deep understanding and experience with Agile project management processes, including strong collaboration skills.
- Power user of Azure DevOps (ADO): Adept at tracking work items, running custom queries, tagging, managing complex work item relationships, dashboards, burndown charts, creating work item templates, etc.
- Agile Framework Effectiveness Measurement: Can define Agile effectiveness metrics and implement measurement across multiple teams.
- Facilitation & Guidance: Shadow delivery teams and provide actionable recommendations for improvement or alignment with Agile framework.
- Data Visualization & Reporting: Create and maintain custom ADO dashboards and/or Power BI dashboards using data from Azure DevOps to provide visibility into team performance, delivery metrics, and Agile maturity.
- Agile Story-Pointing / Sizing Practitioner: Create a feasible, scalable story-pointing framework to be implemented across the org facilitating standard work sizing. This includes upskilling and driving implementation across teams.
- Solution Design & Build: Delivering Microsoft DevOps solutions that provide continuous security, integration, testing, delivery, deployment, monitoring, and feedback. Design, implement, and manage flow of work
- Training: Document, publish and provide training for Azure DevOps (ADO) best practices and maintain system documentation and process guides. Act as a resource for colleagues, provide guidance to less experienced team members.
- 4 years Azure DevOps experience
- 4 years of Agile expertise
- Proven experience coaching multiple teams and stakeholders in Agile adoption
- Power Platform Integration (Power BI, Power Automate)
- Experience configuring and creating solutions in Azure DevOps.
- Experience integrating Azure DevOps with Power Platform Solutions.
- Experience configuring managed connections with other Microsoft products like Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI.
