Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA(Hybrid). Candidate must have strong cloud DevOps expertise across AWS and AliCloud to design automation-driven infrastructure and deliver secure, high-performing cloud solutions.
Rate Range: $58/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $58.00 to $60.00 per hour

Requirements

System Administrator Job Responsibilities Include
- Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS and AliCloud using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Chef.
- Driving CI/CD pipeline development with Jenkins and Git to enable secure, automated, and high‑quality deployments.
- Optimizing cloud environments through scripting, automation, and performance‑focused engineering using Python and Bash.
- Managing cloud‑native deployments involving Kubernetes, databases, and distributed systems to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Collaborating with data teams to support ETL flows, data structures, and cloud‑based storage solutions.
- Supporting security, networking, and cross‑application delivery by implementing encryption, key management, and best‑practice cloud controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 6–8 years working in cloud DevOps engineering with strong exposure to AWS and AliCloud environments.
- Ability to design automated cloud infrastructures using IaC tools and support CI/CD pipelines with high reliability.
- Proven capability to optimize cloud deployments, enhance performance, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional engineering teams.
