Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a contract with a client in Plano, TX. Candidates must have proven experience with O365 and MS Exchange tenant migrations to be considered for this position.
Rate Range: $53/hour to 68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.00 per hour

Requirements

System Administrator Job Responsibilities Include
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and system software to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve hardware or software problems promptly.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with organizational policies.
- Perform regular system backups, updates, and patch management to safeguard data and infrastructure.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and changes for compliance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support new deployments, upgrades, and ongoing system improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure management.
- Proven experience managing Windows and/or Linux server environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with network, security, and backup solutions.
