Akkodis is seeking an AV Technician for a contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment for events and meetings.
Rate Range: $37/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
AV Technician Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour

Requirements

AV Technician Job Responsibilities Include
- Set up, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment including microphones, projectors, video monitors, and sound systems for meetings and events.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV systems promptly to ensure minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with event coordinators and IT teams to understand AV requirements and deliver seamless support.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document AV setups and configurations for future reference and consistency across events.
- Stay updated on emerging AV technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements when necessary.
- Associate degree or technical certification in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in AV setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage AV systems in live environments with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
