Rate Range: $41/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
SRE Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $41.00 to $47.00 per hour

Requirements

SRE Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Monitor and maintain the health, availability, and performance of production systems using tools like Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and timely service restoration.
- Perform L1/L2 support activities including defect identification and coordination with development teams for prioritized fixes.
- Implement and validate RFCs, including pre‑ and post‑deployment checks during traffic diversion and system changes.
- Develop and enhance monitoring dashboards, alerts, and automation scripts to improve visibility and reduce manual workloads.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt reliability best practices, optimize system performance, and support on‑call rotations for critical issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- 4–7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Support, or related roles.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Core Java, cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools (Splunk, Kibana, Grafana).
- Proven experience in L1/L2 support, incident management, debugging, and working in Agile/Scrum environments within the banking or financial domain.
