Akkodis is seeking a Sr Network Permitting Specialist for a Contract with a client in Irvine, CA(Remote). Responsible for leading utility coordination and permitting activities to ensure timely network deployment and compliance with regulatory standards.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $48/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr Network Permitting Specialist Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $45.00 to $48.00 per hour

Sr Network Permitting Specialist Job Responsibilities Include
- Coordinate and manage all permitting activities for network infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare, submit, and track permit applications for utility attachments, right-of-way access, and construction activities.
- Engage with jurisdictional authorities and utility companies to resolve permitting issues and negotiate approvals.
- Maintain accurate records and data integrity within internal tracking systems for all permitting and entitlement activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Construction, Project Management) to align permitting timelines with project schedules.
- Monitor regulatory changes and provide guidance to ensure adherence to applicable codes, ordinances, and industry standards (NESC, NEC, GO 95, FCC).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum 2–4 years in permitting, entitlement, or utility coordination within telecom or related industries.
- Proven experience managing jurisdictional engagement and negotiating utility agreements.
- Strong project management skills with ability to organize and manipulate large datasets for tracking and reporting.
