Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Seattle, WA. You will drive large-scale cross-functional projects and build automation frameworks for reliable data pipeline quality.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $60.00 per hour

Requirements

Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects to define and execute the technical roadmap for the WFM Data Services platform.
- Design and implement automation and monitoring frameworks to ensure data pipeline reliability and accurate operational KPIs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build and maintain real-time, highly available data pipelines and scalable infrastructure.
- Define and enforce data governance and retention policies to meet compliance and security standards.
- Drive process improvements by automating manual workflows, optimizing data delivery, and enhancing infrastructure scalability.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent resolutions for technical and business process issues.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or leading large-scale data projects.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines and automation frameworks using big data technologies.
- Strong experience in data governance, retention policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-level solutions.
