Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract with a client in Las Vegas, NV. You will drive technical delivery by translating business needs into clear designs and guiding development teams through implementation.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Solution Architect Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $53.00 to $55.00 per hour

Solution Architect Job Responsibilities Include
- Develop and own end‑to‑end solution architecture, including high‑level designs, API frameworks, and microservice‑based system blueprints.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders, translating strategic requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Architects to shape product roadmaps and ensure alignment across teams.
- Lead development teams through implementation by breaking down requirements into epics/stories and guiding technical execution.
- Conduct POCs to evaluate emerging technologies and drive adoption of modern tools, AWS services, and containerization platforms.
- Present complex architectural proposals to both technical and non‑technical audiences while promoting reusability and inner-sourcing practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technology field.
- 6–8 years of experience in solution architecture, microservice design, and agile delivery.
- Strong proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, AWS cloud services, and modern architecture patterns.
- Hands‑on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
