Senior Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Engineer for a Contract with a client in Waltham, MA. You will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting Azure AD Connect synchronization policies and planning disaster recovery for AADC servers.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Engineer Job Responsibilities Include

• Manage and troubleshoot Azure AD Connect synchronization policies, including creating/modifying sync rules and resolving sync errors for users and groups.
• Plan and implement disaster recovery strategies for AADC servers and configure backups to ensure business continuity.
• Administer and maintain Active Directory and Azure AD environments, including group policy troubleshooting, replication, and enterprise application integration for SSO.
• Configure and restore ADFS services, including relying party setup, metadata configuration, and certificate updates for secure authentication.
• Monitor Azure AD Connect Health portal and Office 365 Admin Center, acting on alerts and performance issues to maintain system stability.
• Provide audit-related information and documentation, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in Azure AD, ADFS, and Active Directory administration.
• Strong expertise in Azure AD Connect, including synchronization policies, troubleshooting sync errors, and disaster recovery planning.
• Proven experience in configuring and restoring ADFS services, managing certificates, and implementing secure enterprise application integrations for SSO.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
