Salesforce Lead Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Salesforce Lead Developer for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate leads the design and development of scalable Salesforce solutions, leveraging deep expertise in Apex, LWC, and advanced automation.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Salesforce Lead Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements and platform best practices.
• Develop and optimize automation using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and advanced Flow designs to enhance system performance and user experience.
• Oversee and contribute to Service Cloud and Experience Cloud implementations, including case management, digital engagement, and self‑service solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure adherence to Salesforce security, performance, and CI/CD deployment guidelines.
• Collaborate with architects, admins, business analysts, QA, and cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and deliver timely resolutions while supporting ongoing DevOps and release activities.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (master’s preferred).
• 6–10 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, and multi‑cloud implementations.
• Proven expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and advanced automation using Flows and Lightning components.
• Strong experience designing scalable technical solutions, performing code reviews, and working with DevOps/CICD pipelines in enterprise Salesforce environments.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour
