Production Artist / Retoucher

Akkodis is seeking a Production Artist / Retoucher for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. Candidates must have expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and proven experience in high-volume commercial photo retouching.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Production Artist / Retoucher Job Responsibilities Include

• Retouch and process high-resolution product images, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all visual assets.
• Apply graphic overlays and annotations in alignment with established style guides for clarity and brand consistency.
• Maintain organized, shareable files with proper layer structure and naming conventions for efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and designers to deliver high-quality visuals for global publication.
• Troubleshoot production challenges and contribute to the development of improved workflows and processes.
• Ensure visual assets meet technical and aesthetic standards, supporting responsive design and accessibility considerations.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial photo retouching, preferably in a corporate or high-volume production environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop with strong knowledge of Illustrator and other Creative Suite tools.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate, high-quality retouching and graphic overlays while maintaining organized workflows and collaborating effectively with creative teams.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
