Machine Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Machine Technician for a Contract with a client in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate is responsible for setting up, tuning, and troubleshooting fabrication equipment to support high‑quality softgoods builds from early prototypes through factory readiness.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Machine Technician Job Responsibilities Include

• Support machine setup and configuration using tooling details and CAD inputs to ensure build accuracy.
• Tune and adjust machines based on material type, thickness, and construction methods to optimize quality and cycle time.
• Execute prototype builds in collaboration with assemblers, tooling engineers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues impacting build quality, yield, or throughput.
• Support scaling of builds from early prototype stages through pre‑factory readiness phases.
• Provide feedback on process optimization, manufacturability constraints, and design improvements.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Diploma, Associate’s, or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in softgoods prototype fabrication or manufacturing support roles.
• Strong expertise in cut‑and‑sew operations and softgoods materials (textiles, silicone, leather, synthetics), including machine setup, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to interpret CAD drawings and engineering documentation and support scaling from early prototypes to pre‑factory readiness with a focus on manufacturability and process optimization.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $64.00 per hour
