Functional Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Functional Analyst for a Contract with a client in Woodland Hills, CA. This role leads backlog prioritization and delivery while driving stakeholder alignment and ensuring data governance throughout the product lifecycle.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Functional Analyst Job Responsibilities Include

• Define and deliver data products by shaping scope, user needs, and clear requirements aligned to P&C insurance workflows.
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog based on business value, risks, and dependencies across Auto, Home, and Umbrella LOBs.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, manage sprint goals, and ensure high‑quality, incremental delivery of data warehouse initiatives.
• Partner with business, technology, and governance teams to drive stakeholder alignment and ensure compliance and data governance standards are met.
• Oversee product lifecycle activities, including quality monitoring, observability, continuous improvement, and cost optimization.
• Drive adoption of data products through effective communication, change management, and user‑focused enablement.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Product Ownership or Data-focused project delivery within the P&C insurance domain.
• Proven hands‑on experience managing data warehouse or data product initiatives within Auto, Home, and Umbrella lines of business.
• Strong expertise in Agile delivery, including backlog prioritization, requirement definition, and execution using tools like Rally and Snowflake.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
