Full Stack Software Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. This role requires strong Python and Django expertise to build reliable backend services while also creating intuitive React‑based user interfaces.

Rate Range: $80/hour to $83/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Full Stack Software Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework to support efficient data collection and processing.
• Design and implement user‑friendly web interfaces in React, ensuring strong usability and alignment with UX best practices.
• Collaborate with data engineers and cross‑functional teams to build solutions that meet the needs of multiple data consumers.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high‑quality, maintainable, and robust technical solutions.
• Work with both relational and NoSQL databases to design, optimize, and manage data storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, enhance existing systems, and contribute to continuous improvement across the development team.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or 5 years equivalent industry experience).
• 3 years of hands‑on software development experience in full‑stack environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Object‑Oriented Programming, and backend development using Django and Django REST Framework.
• Skilled in building modern, responsive web user interfaces using React with a solid understanding of UX design principles.

Pay Details: $80.00 to $83.00 per hour
