ETL Ab Initio Developer

Akkodis is seeking an ETL Ab Initio Developer for a Contract position with a client in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience designing, coding, and delivering high‑performance data solutions within data warehouse and cloud environments, preferably in the banking domain.

Rate Range: $57/hour to $59/hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

ETL Ab Initio Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Provide hands‑on development and leadership for ETL and data warehouse projects using Ab Initio.
• Perform Ab Initio solution design, including metaprogramming, PDL, and generic frameworks.
• Work with AWS services including S3 and Redshift for data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics.
• Design and deliver business solutions using Ab Initio with strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Utilize Hadoop ecosystem tools including HDFS, Spark, and Hive for data processing and analytics.
• Support cloud‑based data migration and integration activities for data warehouse modernization.
• Collaborate with Agile DWH & Cloud engineering teams to deliver end‑to‑end data solutions.
• Identify enablers and level of effort required to ingest, transform, and deliver data for the enterprise DWH.
• Mentor and coach team members, sharing best practices and promoting high‑quality engineering standards.
  
  

Years Of Experience

• 5 years in each must‑have skill area
• Strong data warehousing background (Banking domain preferred)
  
  

Professional & Technical Qualifications

• Strong experience with Ab Initio metaprogramming, PDL, and framework development.
• Hands‑on experience with data migration, integration, cloud data workflows, and big‑data pipelines.
• Ability to design and deliver enterprise‑grade ETL and DWH solutions in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Experience working with Agile cloud teams and enterprise data warehouse teams.
• Ability to coach and guide junior engineers and share best practices.

Pay Details: $57.00 to $59.00 per hour
