Entra ID Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Entra ID Engineer for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will design and supports secure authentication frameworks using Microsoft Entra ID, delivering seamless SSO, MFA, and Conditional Access across enterprise and cloud applications.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Entra ID Engineer Job Responsibilities Include

• Design, implement, and support Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and WS-Federation across cloud and enterprise applications.
• Configure and enforce authentication methods including MFA, Conditional Access policies, device compliance, and risk-based access in Microsoft Entra ID.
• Manage application registrations, enterprise applications, API permissions, certificates, and identity governance components within Entra ID.
• Troubleshoot and resolve authentication and authorization issues using logs, traces, and federation diagnostics in multi-tenant environments.
• Support user and group lifecycle management, including directory integrations with Active Directory and LDAP, and guest user access management.
• Provide operational support by handling incidents, changes, and major authentication-related issues while coordinating end‑to‑end application onboarding and integrations.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5 years of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with strong focus on Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, SSO, and MFA implementations.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting SSO integrations using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and WS-Federation in enterprise environments.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to support application onboarding, security design discussions, and end-to-end authentication solutions across multiple environments.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
