Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Loveland, CO. The candidate must have strong expertise in procurement engineering to lead supplier transition programs and ensure smooth operational readiness across global manufacturing environments.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour

Requirements

Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Lead supplier transition programs by managing cutover planning, inventory build, run‑out strategy, and readiness across old and new suppliers.
- Develop and execute detailed transition plans covering schedules, milestones, ERP updates, risks, and issue‑log management.
- Coordinate with global suppliers and cross‑functional teams to maintain continuity of supply through effective PO coverage and delivery adherence.
- Oversee qualification activities such as PPAP, FAI, CAPA management, and engineering change execution to ensure supplier compliance.
- Drive documentation completeness including transition files, operational readiness records, and supplier interface reports before cutover.
- Provide ongoing program performance reporting and escalation updates to Procurement Leadership and project stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 8–10 years in procurement engineering, supplier transitions, or program management.
- Strong hands‑on experience leading supplier transition, cutover planning, and qualification activities across global manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to manage cross‑functional program execution, risk logs, documentation readiness, and continuity‑of‑supply planning.
