Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Bellevue, WA. The candidate will design scalable data pipelines and build advanced Power BI models to deliver unified operational insights across multiple enterprise data sources.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $55.00 per hour

Requirements

Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Design and build scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks to support analytics, reporting, and data‑center capacity planning.
- Develop semantic models and Power BI dashboards by integrating data from Azure DevOps, Halo, and other enterprise data sources.
- Create advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and optimized KQL/SQL queries to deliver high‑quality KPIs and operational insights.
- Manage dataset governance, including role‑based access control (RLS), workspace management, and adherence to organizational data standards.
- Oversee Power BI deployment pipelines, ensuring seamless movement of reports and datasets from development to production.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate analytical requirements into scalable, secure, and well‑designed data solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4–6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or BI development.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI, DAX, SQL/KQL, and Azure data engineering components for building scalable reporting and semantic models.
- Proven ability to design and manage data pipelines, govern datasets, and integrate data from platforms such as Azure DevOps, Halo, and Microsoft Fabric.
