Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ELT workflows using Apache Airflow, Python, and PySpark to ensure efficient data delivery.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $49.00 to $50.00 per hour

Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ELT processes, and workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, Python, and PySpark to ensure efficient and reliable data delivery.
- Design and implement custom connectors for ingesting structured and unstructured data from diverse sources into the platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Implement DataOps principles and CI/CD pipelines for automated data integration, transformation, and deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, proactively resolving issues related to ingestion, transformation, and loading.
- Document data processes and maintain governance standards, ensuring compliance and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in data engineering, ELT development, and data modeling.
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines using Apache Airflow, Python, and PySpark.
- Strong experience implementing DataOps principles and CI/CD pipelines for automated data integration and deployment.
