Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. The candidate will design and maintain WebMethods-based integration solutions while developing robust backend components in Core Java.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour

Requirements

Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using WebMethods components such as Integration Server, Flow Services, Adapters, and Trading Networks.
- Leverage mandatory GenAI experience to enhance integration design, automation, and solution efficiency.
- Develop and optimize backend components using Core Java, adhering to object-oriented and coding best practices.
- Build, consume, and manage RESTful APIs to support system‑to‑system integrations.
- Perform end‑to‑end integration tasks including message transformation, routing, exception handling, and performance troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support deployment activities while ensuring compliance with security, performance, and coding standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in integration development, including strong WebMethods expertise.
- Proven hands‑on experience with GenAI, as required by the client.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java and RESTful API development as per client expectations.
