Document Controller

Akkodis is seeking a Document Controller for a Direct Hire with a client in Houston, TX. The candidate must bring the technical expertise required to support the planning, design, and construction of complex, high‑availability data center environments.

Salary Range: 60K/Yearly to $85K/Yearly; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Document Controller Job Responsibilities Include

• Conduct comprehensive site audits and develop master plans aligned with clients’ technical and operational requirements.
• Lead the planning, design, and construction coordination of high‑availability IT and data center facilities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure integrated delivery of design and construction services.
• Oversee project implementation to ensure deadlines, budgets, and risk‑reduction goals are consistently met.
• Advise clients on short‑ and long‑term infrastructure strategies, including technical options and capacity planning.
• Manage Phase I and Phase II project activities, ensuring that all recommendations developed during planning are executed effectively.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in data center design, construction, or mission‑critical facility engineering.
• Proven experience performing site audits, master planning, and technical assessments for high‑availability IT environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage integrated design‑build project phases, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and risk‑mitigated delivery.
