Disaster Recovery Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Disaster Recovery Analyst for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA (Remote). The ideal candidate who has proven ability to drive cross‑functional recovery planning, strengthen distributed system readiness, and maintain robust backup and data replication strategies.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $63/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Disaster Recovery Analyst Job Responsibilities Include

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) plans aligned with ISO 22301 and NIST contingency standards.
• Assess technical designs, runbooks, and distributed system architectures to validate recovery readiness and identify resilience gaps.
• Coordinate and lead cross‑functional DR exercises, ensuring alignment between engineering teams, business leaders, and compliance stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate data replication, backup strategies, and failover procedures to ensure continuity and minimize recovery time.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and audit documentation to support financial, IT, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity teams to enhance observability, access controls, and overall enterprise resilience.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or Enterprise Resilience.
• Strong understanding of ISO 22301 and NIST contingency planning frameworks.
• Ability to assess technical architectures, runbooks, and distributed systems to ensure recovery readiness.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $63.00 per hour
