Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Alpharetta, GA. The candidate must demonstrate strong automation expertise using Selenium, Java/Python, and GCP to qualify for this role.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Develops robust automated test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, and other automation frameworks to validate application functionality.
• Implements cloud‑focused testing strategies leveraging GCP services to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Creates high‑quality acceptance and integration test suites while maintaining strong code coverage through CI/CD tools.
• Executes API validation using frameworks such as Rest Assured, Karate, and Cucumber within TDD/BDD workflows.
• Integrates automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools for continuous delivery.
• Collaborates with developers to troubleshoot defects, enhance automation frameworks, and improve overall product quality.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 10 years of experience in automation, quality engineering, and advanced testing practices.
• Meets client expectations by delivering strong automation solutions using Selenium, Java/Python, CI/CD tools, and cloud‑based testing on GCP.
• Demonstrates the ability to build high‑coverage test suites, integrate them within CI/CD pipelines, and apply TDD/BDD methodologies as required by the client.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
