Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Mount Laurel, NJ. The candidate will be responsible for designing efficient data models, writing complex SQL and NoSQL queries, and ensuring data quality, performance tuning, and governance across the full development lifecycle.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $90/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python and PySpark to support data processing and analytics needs.
• Build and optimize MongoDB schemas, queries, aggregation pipelines, and indexing strategies for high-performance NoSQL operations.
• Write and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and datasets to ensure efficient data retrieval and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and governance across all stages of the development lifecycle.
• Diagnose and resolve performance and reliability issues across Python, Spark, and database environments.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to solution architecture, technical design, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8–10 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on data-centric applications.
• Proven hands-on expertise in Python, PySpark, MongoDB, and SQL, including performance tuning and data modeling.
• Experience working in Agile environments with the ability to contribute to solution architecture, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $90.00 per hour
