Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Lewisville, TX. You will design and implement scalable microservices using Spring Boot and build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and microservices using Spring Boot.
- Build and consume secure, high-performance RESTful APIs to support business functionality.
- Implement and optimize Spring Batch jobs for large-scale data processing and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, QA, designers, product managers) in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Deploy and monitor cloud-native applications on Azure or AWS, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural discussions for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (master’s preferred).
- 8–10 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-level Java applications.
- Strong expertise in building and maintaining modern, scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot microservices architecture.
- Proven experience in deploying cloud-native applications (Azure/AWS) and implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Docker.
