Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. You will be responsible for defining end-to-end architecture for Java-based applications and designing secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour

Requirements

Developer Job Responsibilities Include
- Define end-to-end architecture for Java-based applications with a strong focus on API-led integration.
- Design and govern RESTful APIs (and GraphQL if applicable) using best practices such as OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Architect and implement microservices-based systems using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Establish standards for API security, versioning, throttling, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployments.
- Review designs, code, and integration patterns to ensure compliance with architectural standards and mentor development teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- 8 years of experience in Java-based application architecture and API integration.
- Strong expertise in designing and governing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture using Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.
- Proven experience in API security, lifecycle management, and integration with internal/external systems and third-party services.
