Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Bentonville, AR. You will be responsible for developing scalable backend solutions and integrating with relational databases using ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA.
Rate Range: $37/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour

Developer Job Responsibilities Include
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java (6–8 years preferred) and Spring Boot framework.
- Integrate and manage relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle using ORM tools like Hibernate or JPA.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, following best practices in software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and testing, ensuring performance, reliability, and security of applications.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience with Java development.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot for building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA.
