Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Marlboro, MA. Candidates must have hands-on experience integrating security into the software development lifecycle and conducting vulnerability assessments.
Rate Range: $49/hour to 56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $49.00 to $56.00 per hour

Developer Job Responsibilities Include
- Integrate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Design and maintain security systems and controls, including firewalls and encryption mechanisms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Respond to security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and develop remediation strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in secure software development and application security.
- Proven expertise in integrating security into the software development lifecycle (Secure SDLC).
- Hands-on experience conducting vulnerability assessments and implementing security controls like firewalls and encryption.
