Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will design and build highly scalable, fault-tolerant microservices deployed on Kubernetes in cloud environments.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Design and develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and reactive frameworks.
• Build and deploy next generation microservices in Kubernetes ecosystems on public cloud platforms like GCP or Azure.
• Architect cloud-native, distributed systems ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies using tools like JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and deliver innovative products.
• Optimize application performance and maintain clean code practices, including code reviews, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6–8 years of experience in backend development with at least 3–5 years focused on microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring Boot with hands-on experience in building reactive microservices deployed on Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, performance tuning, and database design using SQL and NoSQL technologies.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
