Akkodis is seeking a Data Center Technician (Junior) for a Contract with a client in New Albany, OH. The ideal candidate will perform hands-on data center operations including replacing computer parts and running ethernet/fiber cables while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
NOTE: 2nd Shift - Team 1 / 4 day 10 hr shift Sun-Wed 2pm -12:30am
Rate Range: $22.58/hour to $23.58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Center Technician (Junior) Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $22.58 to $23.58 per hour

Data Center Technician (Junior) Job Responsibilities Include
- Replace computer hardware components and perform basic repairs following defined processes.
- Run and install ethernet and fiber optic cables in accordance with established standards.
- Assemble, disassemble, and populate/depopulate equipment racks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the data center environment.
- Operate barcode scanners and associated software tools for inventory and tracking.
- Follow detailed instructions and collaborate effectively with team members to complete assigned tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience in hardware handling or data center operations
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
- Basic knowledge of computer components and proficiency with common computer applications (email, chat).
