CNC Controls And Integration Job Responsibilities Include
- Define electronic control requirements, support CNC equipment upgrades, and ensure protection and integrity of programming/data
- Supports integration of new machinery and electronic systems across the manufacturing environment
- Analyze, modify, and execute CNC machine controller programs
- Support Fanuc CNC integration, repair, and maintenance
- Work with PLCs, ladder logic, servo systems, VFDs, and digital/analog systems
- Perform diagnostics and maintenance on CNC, PLC, and robotic systems
- Define and support electronic control requirements for CNC equipment
- Advise internal teams on equipment/tooling requiring electrical interface
- Coordinate CNC controller programming with IT systems
- Support installation and integration of new equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
- Maintain data integrity and backup systems for CNC programming
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and skilled trades
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement effort
- 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in CNC equipment, along with 3 years in CNC programming and controls (Fanuc preferred)
- Create Windows applications, CNC motion programs, and upgrading CNC machines on the floor
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- 2D CAD (AutoCAD) required; 3D CAD preferred
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and computer systems
- Hands-on experience building/repairing manufacturing equipment
- CNC machining experience (1 year preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required
- Willingness for occasional travel
