Business Analyst - Onsite in Albany NY

Our client is seeking to hire a midlevel Business Analyst for a one-year contract onsite daily in Albany, NY.

Pay rate: $40-43hr w2

Key Responsibilities

Candidate will conduct requirements analysis of legacy systems processes and elicit, analyze, and document requirements for the implementation of the transformed system. Tasks include:

• Identifying and documenting as-is and to-be system requirements and design using the prescribed business analysis methodology, processes, and tools;
• Conducting systems analysis and documentation on legacy mainframe systems;
• Meet with relevant stakeholders, including state agency and local district subject matter experts, users, and executive teams to elicit requirements;
• Produce work products that reflect and ensure system planning, design, and delivery are aligned with business needs;
• Understand and adhere to project timelines and priorities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Level II- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Business Analyst (BA) reading/understanding legacy business and system rules to document modernized rules based on program domain knowledge.
