Akkodis is seeking an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a Contract with a client in Stamford, CT (Remote). You will develop reusable IaC modules and automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring across EC2, VPC, RDS, and related cloud services.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour

AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and reusable IaC modules.
- Provision and administer AWS services including EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, and supporting components.
- Automate infrastructure deployment, scaling, monitoring, and configuration workflows.
- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, and cost‑optimization best practices.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and drive continuous improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure engineering and terraform‑based IaC.
- Proven expertise in designing and automating scalable AWS environments using Terraform modules and state management.
- Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, RDS, IAM, S3) and DevOps practices supporting CI/CD pipelines.
