Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and baristas
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation
• Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance guest experiences and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity and precision
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings, spirits, and food ingredients to answer guest questions confidently
• Support food safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols during food handling, serving, and bussing duties
• Assist with setup, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
• Foster guest relations by providing attentive service that exceeds expectations and resolves any concerns promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to engage guests effectively
• Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including drink presentation
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain necessary sanitation certifications prior to employment
• Previous experience in food handling, serving, bussing, or cashiering is highly desirable
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced hospitality setting

Pay: $15.00 - $26.99 per hour
