Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation processing.
• Oversee payroll data entry, including hours worked, deductions, taxes, and payroll adjustments.
• Manage payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Paychex, UltiPro, or similar platforms.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and general ledger entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Partner with HR to support benefits administration, enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Generate payroll expense reports, compensation analysis, and related financial reporting for leadership review.
• Support audits by preparing payroll documentation and maintaining organized records.
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies while improving accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
• Provide leadership and support to payroll staff or cross-functional teams as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of payroll experience required.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) strongly preferred.
• Strong experience managing full-cycle payroll processing.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, UltiPro, Kronos, Ceridian, or similar.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of accounting principles including journal entries, debits/credits, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems preferred.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work onsite.

Pay Range:
$100,000 – $150,000/year DOE
