The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and a proactive approach to minimizing downtime and improving operational performance.
As a Chief Engineer, You Will
- Oversee daily maintenance and repair of industrial processing equipment and facility systems
- Lead and supervise engineering and maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations
- Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and boiler systems
- Manage spare parts inventory and control maintenance-related costs
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to support plant efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Train and develop staff on equipment, safety procedures, and best practices
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance engineering experience in an industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including 3-phase 230V troubleshooting
- Experience with PLC programming
- Hands-on experience with boilers, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and facility maintenance
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Certifications such as boiler license or PLC training are a plus
