Weekend Shift Machine Operator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to read and understand work orders, written procedures, and instructions
• Determine priority based off work schedule
• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE
• Equipment start-up, set up and shut down per process
• Ensure that the correct sheets are being processed and appear to be visually fee of imperfections
• Load turret bed with sheets of material
• After program is ran, remove sheets, and discard scrap
• Sort and transfer to next station

SCHEDULE:

Friday, Saturday, Sundays 6AM-6:30PM

PAY:

$19.25 base $3.25 shift differential = $22.50 pay

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to use common measuring tools, including calipers and tape measures.
• Ability to read and understand engineering specifications.
• Basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience operation manufacturing machinery, such as a saw or turret

PHYSICAL AND ENVIROMENTAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds and up to 80 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to walk and stand for the duration of the shift, excluding scheduled breaks.
• Ability to use multiple tools while working in various positions, including squatting, bending forward, and reaching to shoulder height.
• Visual abilities that include close, distance, peripheral, color, and depth perception.
• Ability to use hands and fingers for fine manipulation.
• Frequent exposure to loud noise, dust, and debris associated with the production process.
