AJ Chambers are thrilled to be working with a well-established mid-sized law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trademark Prosecution Associate with 1 to 3 years of experience to join its growing intellectual property practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners in a collaborative environment, handling a diverse portfolio of domestic and international trademark matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage U.S. and international trademark prosecution from clearance through registration
• Conduct and analyze trademark searches and provide risk assessments
• Draft and respond to Office Actions before the USPTO
• Advise clients on trademark strategy, portfolio management, and enforcement
• Coordinate with foreign counsel on international filings and prosecution
• Support trademark due diligence in connection with corporate transactions
Qualifications:
• 1 to 3 years of trademark prosecution experience in a law firm or in-house setting
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with TTAB proceedings is a plus
• Patent prosecution experience is a plus, but not required
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar required
• Admission to the New York Bar preferred
• Part-time candidates will be considered
Compensation:
• Competitive salary in the range of $145,000 to $158,000, depending on experience and qualifications
