Our client, a top NJ law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trademark Prosecution Attorney with 1–3 years of experience to join its growing intellectual property practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners in a collaborative, mid-size firm environment, handling a diverse portfolio of trademark matters. NJ Bar admission is a must.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage U.S. and international trademark prosecution from clearance through registration
• Conduct and analyze trademark searches and provide risk assessments
• Draft and respond to Office Actions before the USPTO
• Advise clients on trademark strategy, portfolio management, and enforcement
• Coordinate with foreign associates on international filings and prosecution
• Assist with trademark due diligence in corporate transactions
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of trademark prosecution experience in a law firm or in-house setting
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with TTAB proceedings is a plus
• Patent prosecution experience is a plus, but not required
• New Jersey bar admission required
• New York bar admission preferred
