AIS Construction Equipment, Michigan's oldest family-owned heavy equipment company, is seeking a Rental Coordinator to join our Traverse City branch. This in-person role is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for rental customers (phone, email, and in-person)
- Prepare rental quotes, contracts, and process returns
- Coordinate equipment deliveries, pick-ups, and daily scheduling
- Communicate with technicians, drivers, and sales teams
- Track equipment availability and maintain accurate rental records
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support
Requirements
- Must have a valid state-issued driver's license
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Experience in rentals, dispatching, equipment, or customer service
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computers and rental software
- Reliable, professional, and able to work in person Monday–Friday
